Join us for a day of learning, growth, and family connection! BRIGHT CONNECTIONS, a special Saturday program for Transitional Kindergarten (TK) to 8th grade students and their families, is a full-day event offered through the Expanded Learning A+ Zone, in partnership with Norte Vista High School. The event will offer: Academic Support & Tutoring in English Language Arts and Math led by credentialed teachers Interactive Enrichment Activities that connect learning with creativity, teamwork, and fun Family Workshops designed to support student learning at home and strengthen school-family connections In addition, students who attend the academic instructional block will have their participation recorded for ATTENDANCE RECOVERY (AR). Attendance Recovery is designed to support students who have missed school to catch up on lost instruction; it provides extra time to re-engage with academic material, and while this program does not erase any absences, it provides valuable time for students to recover lost learning. Bussing will be available for children needing transportation to and from the Norte Vista High School campus for the Bright Connections event. School staff will be preparing and serving freshly cooked, hot breakfast and lunch to all student and parent participants!
