Welcome Back to the 2024-2025 school year.  As we begin another exciting school year at Twinhill Elementary, I am thrilled to extend a warm and heartfelt welcome to our returning students, dedicated faculty, staff members, and all our cherished families.

The start of a new academic year is always a moment filled with anticipation and enthusiasm. It offers us a fresh opportunity to embark on a journey of growth, discovery, and excellence. Together!  I want to express my deepest appreciation to our incredible educators, support staff, parents and families who continue to work hand in hand to ensure our students receive the best possible education. Your unwavering commitment to their success is truly commendable, and it is the cornerstone of our school's achievements.

Student Placement-a great deal of time, effort and thought has gone into the process of student placement.  Classrooms are balanced academically and socially and are structured to provide equitable class sizes at each grade level.  Moving students is difficult without causing imbalances and inequities.  Thank you for being positive with your child and helping him/her acclimate to their new grade, peer group and teacher.  Our staff works hard to make school a positive experience for ALL students, and we are eagerly looking forward to enriching your child’s life.

Twinhill Parent-Student Handbook is found online is to provide you with helpful information on school programs, policies and procedures.  Please read the information carefully and review it as a family.  We ask that you keep it in a safe, easily accessible place so you can refer to it throughout the school year.

As we embrace the challenges and opportunities ahead, I encourage each member of our school community to actively participate in school life. Your involvement, whether through volunteering, joining the Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO), or attending school events, plays a crucial role in fostering a strong and supportive learning environment.

I eagerly look forward to the incredible achievements and memorable moments that await us in this academic year. Let us come together as a united school community, supporting and inspiring one another to reach new heights of success and make a positive impact on the world.

Once again, welcome back to all our returning students and families, and a special welcome to our new members joining the Twinhill family. Let us embark on this journey of learning and growth together, hand in hand as we Create a PATH of Excellence for ALL through Partnerships, Aspirations, Tenacity and Heart.

With gratitude and enthusiasm,

Dr. Mary McAllister-Parsons, Principal
