Counseling ~ Office hours 8:00 am - 2:00 pm

Twinhill Elementary School provides counseling services to all students. The counselor is available to address the personal/social and developmental needs of every child attending our school. Our goal is to promote and enhance the academic, personal/ social, and primary development of all students, allowing them to make informed decisions. Mr. Ruiz, our counselor, will focus on guiding students to develop positive work habits, explore college and careers, enhance self-esteem, and build communication and relationship skills.

At Twinhill, our counselor supports students as they grow from early elementary to ready for middle school. Our counselor provides a wide range of services in the school and community, including, but not limited to:

  • Direct counseling services to students individually and in groups.
  • Provide education and support services to students and parents.
  • Work collaboratively with students and teachers to identify and remove barriers that may impede student achievement.
  • Collaborate and coordinate more in-depth services needed through community-based agencies.

As an elementary counselor, we believe in providing equal access to learning experiences that promote a high quality of life. We look forward to working with you and your student(s) this year!
